Does Guy VOYER DO give all the SomaTraining courses?
Yes, Guy VOYER, DO has the exclusivity of the theoretical courses which are now given online via ZOOM Pro.
Guy VOYER, DO does not teach any live/practical courses except the last seminar for TVA's normalization and graduation (Course 4-3) . All other live courses are taught by approved SomaTraining instructors.
How do I connect to the online courses for SomaTraining?

Do we get a certificate after completing a course of SomaTraining?
There are 2 certificates for completion of every SomaTraining course: 1) Certificate of completion for the Theoretical course (online via zoom) 2) Certificate of completion for the practical course (live, in-person).
For the theoretical portion, we will send a certificate, verifying that you have completed the theoretical part. This certificate will be used by your instructor for the practical part and to validate the totality of your seminar (a pertinent document for your graduation).
What happens if I can't find my receipts/certificates to prove that I have already taken a SomaTraining course?
There is only one way to prove that you have already completed a course: submitting a copy of your certificate or diploma. If you are missing any documents, it is your responsibility to contact your instructor to obtain a copy.
Is it mandatory to take the practical between each course of SomaTraining?
No, you can organize your theoretical and practical courses according to your availability.
Can I take all the theory courses in one year and all the practicals in another year?
You can take the courses as you wish, based on your availability (free time, work capacity, finances, etc.).
Some people organize all the theory first before doing the practicals. Others take 2 or 3 full courses in the same year. Others combine SomaTraining with a few courses in SomaTherapy--such as pumping, fascial normalization, etc.
It is up to you to make all decisions regarding your course organization. There is no specific order you must take the courses in.
Do I have to take the course for 3 years to graduate as a SomaTrainer?
This is your own choice, depending on your time, ability, and financial means. Some complete the 3 year program in 1 year (at least for theory). Others do it in 2-3 years mixing and matching different courses. You decide the best way to organize for your learning.
SomaTherapy
Who can take the SomaTherapy course?
Anyone who wants to master all manual therapy techniques to treat and rehabilitate the entire orthopedic system (bones, muscles, joints) and the 4 main diaphragms of the human body. There are no prerequisites, only the desire to help his/her patient in a healing process and a strong motivation to study the anatomy and biomechanics of the human body.
Does Guy VOYER DO give all the SomaTherapy courses?
Theory: Yes, Guy VOYER, DO gives all the theoretical courses online. Practicals: Yes, Guy VOYER, DO also gives all the practical courses but in an intensive formula of six days (to use the 3 × 2 days) of practice over a year. For example, six days exclusively of practice on Pumping, then at another time of the year, six days exclusively of practice on fascial normalizations, then six days exclusively on the practice of 2TLS, etc…. In any case, the last course on cranial diaphragm and concussions, as well as graduation, will be given in a four-day theoretical & practical seminar in Montreal or Santo Domingo.

EXAMPLES: Ex: I am an Osteopath graduated or a Manual Etiotherapist graduated and I want to follow the ELDOA™ certification program. A: You have ELDOA™ 1and 2 by equivalence, you can directly start at ELDOA™ 3.
Ex: I am a Graduated SomaTrainer and I want to follow the ELDOA™ certification program. A: You have ELDOA™ 1, 2, & 3 by equivalence. You can directly start at ELDOA™ 4.
Ex: I have completed ELDOA™ 1 and 2 and want to follow the SomaTraining certification program. A: You have General ELDOA™ by equivalence (Course 1-2).

Where are the Osteopathy / Manual Etiotherapy classes being held?
The 2021 - 2022 academic year will be at the Universidad Federico Henríquez y Carvajal (UFHEC) in the National District of Santo Domingo. Please keep in mind, there are 2 UFHEC Santo Domingo campuses. We are at the "Metropolitan Campus" at the corner of Calle César Nicolás Penson & Avenue Máximo Gómez.

What are the prerequisites to take the Autonomic Nervous System (ANS) normalizations course?
This is an evaluation of your therapeutic experience and the mastery of certain prerequisite courses during an individual interview with the educational direction, Guy VOYER, DO.
What are the prerequisites to take the Pelvilogy courses?
There are no prerequisites other than a strong motivation to study and work on the pelvis, which is an exciting and complex system. However, it is recommended that you have taken some SomaTherapy courses. The Pelvilogy courses must be taken in succession. You cannot start by taking Pelvilogy 3. You must have completed Pelvilogy 1 & 2 in order to take Pelvilogy 3.
What are the prerequisites to take the Viscerology courses?
There are no prerequisites, but you must be highly motivated to follow the entire contents of the Viscerology course (10 courses). There are some prerequisites required to take certain courses withinViscerology. For example, it is not possible to take Viscerology 3 (third course of the digestive system) if Viscerology 1 and 2 have not been previously taken.
What are the prerequisites to take the Spinology courses?
There are no prerequisites, but it is strongly recommended to have taken some Pelvilogy and SomaTherapy courses beforehand.
The Spinology courses must be taken in succession. You cannot start by taking Spinology 3. You must have completed Spinology 1 & 2 in order to take Spinology 3.
How do I pay? What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash and wire transfers.
Cash: Cash in must be received on the 1st day of the course. We only accept Euros. A receipt will be given to you.
Classic Wire Transfer via the bank: Our bank must receive the wire transfer minimum 5 days before the first evening of class. The bank information is available in the contract/registration form emailed to you from Lydie. **We must receive the exact amount, so make sure to calculate any fees your bank may charge. See the next FAQ regarding specifics of wire transfers.
When you apply for a course, we will send you a contract with the amounts to be paid and some administrative formalities. Email us now.
How do I send a wire transfer for payment? I live in the USA.
The easiest and most cost effective way to send a wire transfer to 3S2C (ELDOA classes), SASA (SomaTraining & SomaTherapy classes), and/or ISEM (Etiotherapy classes) is via wise.com. Set up an account, connect your bank, input our bank details, and send. Fees are some of the lowest in the industry, and it saves you a trip to the bank. Keep in mind, this will take 1-2 business days. Please refer to the registration contract emailed to you regarding our specific bank details for 3S2C / SASA / ISEM (wire, routing numbers, address, etc.). Email us now to get our bank reference details.
*Plan ahead. We must receive payment for class at least 5 days before class starts. **We must receive the exact amount, so make sure to fill out the class payment fee in the "Recipient will get exactly" box. For example 1500€ will arrive to 3S2C, all fees have been accounted for on the sender's side.
What is the difference between the 3 companies for the Wire Transfer?
As of January 1, 2022, students must send wire transfers to 3 different companies based on the type of course they are taking. Here is the breakdown: 3S2C = ELDOA™ courses online and/or live practicals SASA = SomaTraining & SomaTherapy courses, online and/or live practicals ISEM = Etiotherapy
It is imperative you check what type of course you are signing up for, and the wire transfer details carefully before sending.
Do you offer a payment schedule if taking several courses during the year?
YES, we offer payment plans if you choose to take multiple courses during the year. When you sign up for class, please list the courses you wish to take and let us know you'd like more information regarding payment plans. Lydie will then propose a process of regular spread of payments.
If I repeat a course I have already taken, do you offer a discount?
YES. For all courses, there is a 50% discount for repeating a course. This discount is applicable whether it is an online course, in SomaTherapy or SomaTraining, or whether it is an ELDOA 4 or 5 course, or a Manual Etiotherapy course in Pelvilogy, Spinology, Viscerology, Craniology, Endocrinology, Pre-per-post Natalogy orANS.
For example, an onlineSomaTraining course that costs 300€ euros, will only be charged 50%, so 150€ per course. In Viscerology 3, or Pelvilogy 5 or Craniology 1 (four days courses that cost 1500€) will be charged 750€ (discount 50%).
In order to receive the 50% discount for repeating a course, you must present a copy of your certificate of completion for the specific course. When registering for the class, make sure to note to Lydie that you would like to repeat the class and send a copy of the certificate as proof of completion.
